mp-8 install
 

I ordered the mp-8 yesterday. today i installed it it went very well hardest part by far was the sensor on the back of the fuel rail ended up gettin a small flat head screw driver and prying the button and pushing back and it popped right off.
Thank you to chris for hookin me up with the mp-8 you guys give him a try hes great.

Did you install the shim kit as well? If so, how was it getting the air horn loose from the gasket?

yeah I installed it. That part was the easy part it was a piece of cake gasket didnt tear or anything no problem

That's good to know. I'm going to try and get around to installing mine this weekend. I was a bit hesitant to do it without having a gasket... just in case.

just have a bottle of jack next to you and if you do tear the gasket, you can call Lucus up and tell him to come over and drive ya to the dealer to get one since you will be hittin the bottle! LOL

I'll have to substitute that bottle of Jack for a bottle of Patron. The last time I drank Jack, I did my impression of a 6.0 Ford's stock head gaskets at 50PSI of boost. :w2: Needless to say it wasn't fun.
