you can check the date on your door jam to see production date, or you can just unplug it and see what happens. if it gets pissed or goes into limp mode, you have the wrong flash.

how it works:
exhaust comes through the cooler or bypasses it. they go through two valves which decide which temp exhaust goes into your engine. from there it goes through the tube in front of your engine and over to the valves on top of your intake manifold. if you unplug that, it cant physically work. it is 2 valve seats on a sliding stem, with no power it stays in the shut position. as soon as i unplugged it i saw intake temps just 12F over ambient.

so you could buy block off plates or remove it all together, but unplugging it works just fine haha

Have any of you guys had any experience with the dpf delete kits. Just wondering if it has had any issues in throwing codes, and passing inspection. I live in rural texas so i've never had any truck checked for proper emissions, But first diesel with this crap on it. Also if yall have any info with egr deletes info would be much appreciated.

It is too hard to believe this. I was getting 14.2 MPG before. So, after I fill her up, I have to drive for few days and do a hand calculation and see if this is really true.

I know the mileage is better and that's expected, but have you had any problems with the inspection stations? I want to do the EGR delete system, but am afraid it won't pass inspection in North Carolina, even with reprogramming the computer.

Default EGR delete/unplug

can i unplug the EGR on a fully stock 6.7L 2008 and leave the DPF alone. I think the EGR is causing the turbo to soot up and kick a p2262 code. The milage is down to 12MPG. 4 turbos in 30K. I have a 5.7L 2011 already picked out, but would rather try to keep this.

can you leave the PDF instaled and unplug the EGR?

You need to properly delete the EGR/Cooler

I have an 08 with the latest flash, Ive removed the butterfly, blocked the EGR and now get a DTC p0106. My tuner hasnt arrived yet. Has anyone had this and will the tuner fix this. PS, it runs like crap now. and the lightning bolt on the dash comes on.

i did all mine when i had a tuner but your truck is getting threw into limp mode thats why its not running at peak also rich you said something about the turbo plugging up have you thought about running the external filter to keep the oil coming out of the filter and running through your turbo and ending up in your intercooler
