I wouldnt mess with until you know exactly what you are doing as this is not like straightpiping a regular common rail (but you probably already know that).

DE, Obviously not. A 6.7L truck will without a computer by-pass go into full limp mode, mileage and power will be dramatically impacted. The truck will not rev above 2000 RPM (or is it 2100) and you will not enjoy the $60k paperweight you just created.

In fact, you can turn them off entirely with some some programmers.

Sensor sims do a pretty good job of keeping the ECM happy when the BlueTec components are deleted and aftermarket software (such as Smarty) isn't present.
I don't recommend straight-piping... our 6.7L exhaust uses a resonated AeroTurbine & 409SS tubing with O2 bungs (not required on C&C).
