Default DPF delete question

If I were to perform a DPF delete on my 6.7, what kind of issue could I have as a result? I know that it would impact warranty, but does the kit have any effect on the overall performance of the truck? code issues, start issues? Is there a way to bypass programming so when the kit is installed I won't have an issue?
What kit do you recommend?

Thanks

I have heard spartan's warhammer tune is good. I have a friend runnig kem's tunes and he likes them. You wont have any code issues as long as you do everything right, no start issues, and you cant delete the dpf and urea with out a programer. The only problem I have seen so far is it blowing up your turbo but it has been rare seen it twice since the trucks came out.

Or you could by the same truck in mexico and not have one bit of emmisions crap on it.

Can't remove the stuff without the tunes brother...

If you just yank the DPF on any of these trucks without the tuning to go with it, they will still go into regen mode and you will have issues...

I would suggest a HS Mini Maxx and DPF delete pipe.

you'll get better gains from the spartan kit but the H&S is live so you can change tunes while driving... and i suggest if you get a tuner to start saving for an upgraded tranny

Anybody having problems with these newer 2011+ trucks and the transmissions? Does the tuner also firm up shift points?

I think this is a good idea. There might still be other things you could consider though!
