Default looking at a 6.7

so im looking into getting a new truck (have had a 6.0, and 7.3l stroker) and wanted to see what yall have to say about the 6.7. the truck would be a DD/medium weight tow rig. it would remain bone stock until warranty was gone. so here are my questions

any motor/trans issues
what kinda mpg can i expect stock (4x4 cclb dually)
what kinda mpg can i expect if/when i tune the truck and do deletes

right now it is between the 6.7 and the 6.6 dmax just not sure what to do so trying to get reviews on both and get a good comparison.

The fuel economy (if you can call it that) is poor for the most part early on. My 2011 got 9.5 empty or towing until it hit around 12000 miles. It improved to about 12 at that point. If you do the deletes then the truck really runs and performs much better and your fuel milage will increase depending on how heavy your foot is. I'm personally not a big fan of the new fords or gm's since they have gone to urea addative for after burn. Transmission problems are based on driving styles and trans type since you didn't specify stick or auto it's hard to say but the dodge has a good trans and a weak torque converter on the autos especially if you push them. The Isuzu motor in the GM's has been known to get really good milage but be a poor performer out of the box. Just my opinions. Good luck

I use my truck to haul a landscape trailer and was getting 9 city 13 hwy pulling. Did the dpf/egr now I get 15 city and dunno about hwy yet because most my work is in town.... Not pulling with an easy foot i get 18 city and 21 on the hwy. I don't show out in it and she gets just as good mpg as my wifes full size kia...... I love the mini maxx with OD software.

2008 2500 4x4 70k EGR/DPF MMw/ OD software, 4"TBE, SB Cold Air

I see that you are in Huntsville, I live in Conroe and Spring Chryster and Dodge is about the best bet on working with you and if you find something with under 100k you get a lifetime powertrain warranty, plus svc manager is mod friendly
