I know nothing about the new 6.7's but my uncle just bought a 2012 off the lot. Quad cab 4X4 auto 3500. He called me up and asked me to look him up an air intake kit and a chip, and he's looking for the best performance without spending tooooo much money. What site would y'all reccommend for his wish list and what kind of performance chip would y'all reccommend? I'm a 12 valver, I know absolutely nothing about chips.

UPDATE Well, I've found something but I'm not sure about it. From parleysdieselperformance, I'm looking at the H&S XRT PRO tuner. Anyone know anything about it? He tows ALOT and I need to make a good towing/street performance choice for both items he wants. He tows a 30' horse trailer with sleeping quarters, so...

That h and s tuner is the sh#*.my buddy has one in his 12 and loves it.
If you don't have the money the smarty jr is awesome and affordable i run it on my 07.and never a problem.try thoroughbred Diesel.

xrt is nice but minimaxx might be over his budget, well worth if for me since you can change settings on the fly and you have all digital guages. Will be be looking at dpf/egr deletes?
