Default EGR delete without check engine light?

Before all the advice to get a tuner and do all the deletes - DON'T BOTHER - it is not affordable right now.

I am tired of having my CE light constantly on (EGR unplugged). Maybe somebody can tell me if this combination might work and not cause a CE light or other problems.

1) Remove plunger from EGR motor
2) Remove white butterfly valve gear
3) Freeze plug to block EGR intake pipe

I tried just blocking the pipe, it ran like a gas engine with a stuck choke. In my mind (often wrong) when the computer thinks the truck should ingest black nasty air, it tells the butterfly to close, increasing the vacume on the EGR and the EGR to open up. Maybe the computer can be fooled with what I dreamed up.
