Default EGR question (block off plate)

I'm planning to buy a 2012 6.7L RAM truck. Putting a EGR block off plate at the crossover pipe only, will it impact the system if I want to minimize EGR/cooler delete parts removal? I'm planning to install a DPF delete kit (+CAT removal) and use H&S tuner.

What a mess compare with my 2002 5.9L RAM. I will pay few thousands $ for parts that I will remove.
