Default Turbo Question

I have a 2007.5 cummins with a 6spd manual and no mods......yet. Took it to the dealership cause CEL was on but was running great. Code was p2262 turbo mechanical. They replaced the turbo under warranty. Picked truck up tonite and was pissed. Truck didnt have anywhere close to the power it did. Turbo takes forever to spool up compared to the old one that was supposedly bad and it feels like truck has a miss.
Has anyone had this issue or know anything about this? As far as I am concerned I want my old turbo back cause this aint gonna cut it!

My plan is to delete all the emisions JUNK soon. The reason I did not go aftermarket is because it was under warranty and I would rather spend the money on deletes than a turbo that the rest of the truck probably would only hold back or studs that wouldnt take the extra boost.
I only got a mile away from dealership and took it back and dropped keys in night drop. Will call them in the morning. I was just wondering if anyone had any input on why my truck would run worse. You would think they test drove it and would have noticed if they thought it wasnt right. I dont wanna be stuck with this.

Well they say it is what it is. I am working on it now to see if I can find anything wrong. Pulled intercooler hose to check for oil hoping it was a bad seal but no oil. Would like to check waste gate but not sure how to go about it yet. I asked them to put my old turbo back on and was gonna bring it home and remove it and clean it but they wouldnt do that either. I shouldnt have to do all this work anyway but I want it right and obviously they cant do it right.
Thanks for the input guys. I am a converted gas man about 6years ago and still learning the diesel side of things.

check the mass flow sensor in the intake and fuses under the hood. also ask them if they are sure they got it star scanned right. we went thru this with a after market upgraded vgt.
