Default Intake manifold

I was looking into getting an h&s maxx flow manifold or the new bladerunners that afe came out with for the 6.7, I know this gets rid of the egr what about the cooler side. Is it necessary I still get blocker plates?

I don't know for a fact but to me it makes sense to go a head and block off the cooler.
