egt probe?

Ok on my 6.7 I removed the egr cooler and I want to install a pyro probe my question is can I put it in the rear block off plate at back of manifold above the turbo?thanks for any input.

ya you can seen ppl do it i did mine right above the turbo on manifold to be closer to the turbo

yes you can put them in the plate. i put mine in the turbo but they are very little difference in temp.

Mines in the plate. The EGR delete kit i got came with the plate pre-tapped.
