Default "Perform Service"

I was driving yesterday and "Perform Service" popped up on my overhead display. Just curious as to what I should do? I checked the owners manual and it said that it means the emissions stuff needed serviced, but I deleted all that crap two weeks ago. The only other thing it said was that the CCV filter needed changed so is that all I need to do to make it go away?

When i bought mine i was on my way home with and that light came on and the dpf also filled up so when i got home i parked it till all my stuff come for the deletes and that fixed the dpf problem but not the perform service light so i did the ccv filter and it was deffinatly bad but it never turned the perform service light off so if you find out how to turn that light off let me know cause i was told once you delete your egr it wont go off unless you use efi live wich they dont have out for our trucks yet.

Well that sucks, I read in the owners manual that if you turn the key to the on position and push the pedal to the floor 3 times within ten seconds of turning the key on it would turn it off. But I havent tried it yet because I havent replaced the filter yet. So we shall see what happens tomorrow.

i always hit the brake 3 times and then the go pedal 3 times with the switch on. then turn the switch off and then i start the truck. if the perform service dont go off repeat.
