I just checked my starter at the shop took the belt off the engine and cover off of the converter and tried to turn engine and it wont turn. It did turn while the starter was on but only 1/2 inch at a time and it made a full revolution. Maybe water in the cylinder? Bearing turned in rod or main? Does anyone have a wrecked truck I can get an engine out of? my email is john@alacable.com

 

Why not rebuild it? Or at least tear into it and see what's going on b4 you give up on it...
