Default 5.9/6.7 swap

i posted this once before and got no respose so im gonna try it again...does anyone kno what it would involve to ditch my 6.7 for a 5.9 what problems would i have with the gauges or wiring...my plan was to get an engine with a ECU and i wiring harnes out of an 06-07 truck

i'd imagine if you have everything as in all the computers, it shouldn't be TOO bad?

I honestly think no one has ever done that swap yet? atleast i've never heard of anyone doing one, best of luck though

yeah this thing is pushing coolant and bubbling in the overflow....im done messing with it i called garmons today i gotta call back tomorrow and talk to jeff im prolly just gonna take it to them and have a 12valve put in in and solve all of my problems

5.9 head on a 6.7 has been done, don't recall seeing it in a 6.7 truck though.

yupp...so im gonna try another route i dont think it could be that difficult to just switch out a wiring harness and ecm to put a 5.9 out of an 06 07 in it but im gonna see what garmons says about just dropping a 12 valve in

I have an 08 6.7 that is locked up and need your engine for parts. want to trade for my 5.9 and harness and computer?
