Default 6.7 over boosting

i was driving on to the highway and i stepped on it and my boost normally peaks at around 38psi but this time it shot to around 47psi and i heard a loud pop when i pulled over i figured out the pop was my air filter shooting off the truck only has 52,000 miles on it ... any ideas? the truck works fine ive been driving it al day with no problems.

ah ha the boost fooler my be causing it I'd pull it in the meantime and beware once you hook the mp8 and the smarty together with no studs your headgasket is on borrowed time

With as much fuel as your pushing I'd say do a turbo swap get rid of the vgt. On the gasket I can't speak from experience but brk can about fire rings. I will say this something is in development as a headgasket that should hold even the most powerful 6.7l trucks

I'm going to say without dual cp3s or a 120% your are going to run out of fuel on tnt.
