1451 is particulate filter performance code I'd start by deleting that mess because even if you do fix it. It will come back eventually that could maybe be causeing the problem and the egr doesnt help our turboes any could be causing it to get stuck / and or not work properly

What can I do if I can't do the deletes due to emissions? I've had the same problem with my exhaust brake coming on when I get on it. I've noticed that my truck has become a lot more sluggish. I've had some tell me that I need a new turbo but nobody out here in Colorado seems to be familiar with the 6.7's

If I had a 6.7 I'd straight-pipe the cat and DPF do the EGR delete. By straight piping, I mean don't just remove or gut them, but actually install pipe through it. It will flow better that way and as long as they see them there and it is not setting any codes you will pass emissions.

seems like the guys that run hard out on the open road has less problems. i live in wv where you cant run like that. after i deleted my truck runs good. i will never put that stuff back on. if somebody makes me the truck will go down the road to a new owner. its a cryin shame they put this junk on them. as the dealers say , use your exhaust brake and run it like you stole it till you get dpf and egr delete

Gibby, which recall are you talking about? I haven't gotten a recall notice about the exhaust brake.

Tell them your not sure what is wrong that it will need to be driven, and insist on being in the truck for the ride. then when it's "fixed" tell them you want them to take you on another test ride. Also be ready to start seeing trouble codes now that your dpf program is "fixed". Lotta people having problems with that. heres just one
