Does anybody on here have a clue how i could make my Manual 6.7L idle higher. Like around 1000-1100 RPM it idles 850 now and it makes the DD clutch raddle but you push the accelerator just a little to get the rpms up to 1000 and it quits. I wish i could make it idle up like the auto.

 

Take it to the dealer and they will hook you right up.

 

yep , dealer can enable the high idle. You have to ground a wire too tho. My 09 had a wire under the dash that i grounded.

 

But will this will work on a manual?

 

It did on my new 09 G 56.

 

Did they flash your ECM though because i dont want them them to flash mine and then my smarty not work.

 

It should you have cruise control Right.. well they do have to hook it up to the pc to do it.

 

They didnt have to flash it, but i wanted them to flash it. It was anew 09 and it had been on the lot for several months and i wanted the latest flash on it. If youre worried about the flash with the smarty, why dont you just return to stock, then download the new S17 from the MADS website?
