Whats the hardest settings you have ran with the Smarty and the new clutch so far? Looking for something that can take SW5-7 and TQ 3-4 and actualy hold. THNX

I have ran my truck on SW9 with the torque on 4 and you cant slip it, The clutch is rated for 650 H.P. and that is an understatment peter with southbend told me it is capable of handling 750 H.P.

Is the engagement any different than stock? Pedal pressure and or grabby? Also, is there much noise from it?

A little noise, and very little more pedal pressure.

Sweet! Well that is my xmas gift to myself this year I think! Was the install straight forward? Does the kit include the clutch alignment tool? And does it work well with the factory flywheel? Or do you have to get an aftermarket wheel? Those things seem mighty pricey for a clutch...I raced a 5 speed stang for a long time and never payed 4 digits for a clutch, but obviously I assume there is way more material involved in a 3500 truck over a 302 stang haha.

Whats the composite on the disc, is a a puck style with the large pads at points around the disk made of a composite metal or is a kevlar type full circumferance disk like OEM???

Thnx Mike

Man i know it seems like a crazy amount of money. But if u want the best this is where its at. The install is preety straight foward. And yes the alignment tool comes with it. I put mine in with a couple of buddys in about 2 and a half hours.the hardest part is getting the trans. stabbed back in. Go ahead do it, you wont regret it.

All DD kits include a new flywheel. If your not into sled pulling id go with a Valair Nodular DD. Valair uses Ceramic Buttons.
