i need 6.7 silencer ring help now

the silencer ring covers up 3 long jelly bean shaped holes... they go torwards the midle of the inducer... as air moves from the tip of the inducer torwards the outer edge some of it is bled off thru these holes... the ring doesnt silence so much as it reduces the turbulence which is where the whistle comes from... less turbulence = smoother air flow which equals more power (theoretically) i doubt there is any gain or loss that can be felt other than the whistle... if there is a special purpose for the 6.7 then i'd most deffinately leave it... put an aftermarket intake on it and an exhaust and i'm sure you'll be plenty happy with the ring in place
