as stated, they have all been informed to perfomr the flash regardless of what the truck comes in for, oil change, brakes, whatever, even if you go to diagnose, flash, yer dun, next.

Glad I haven't bought anything yet... my 08 is suppposed to go in next thursday. I had the P2262 coem up, we cleared it with a hand held autozone scanner on tuesday, it still hasnt' coem back on. I did run the truck in 5th gear hard on the highway for a couple days of my commute (80 mph in 5th, so the rpm was up around 2500 or so) and it hasn't come back on yet, I wonder if I just got it hot enough to clean itself out.....

I'm going to tell the dealer not to do anything with the computer as far as new programs without my consent first... what revision software wise did they go to, so I know which one to tell them not to do?

Man that SUCKS .... Glad I seen this. I was about to take mine in for an oil change. Will this flash kill all programmers or just the smarty?

I took mine in for an inspection after i bought it and they flashed mine without asking then charged me for it too... If a dealership was willing could they possibly revert back to an older flash at all?
