Default 07 6.7l

are these trucks worth buy. truck is not for me. he has a 05 6.0 f350 that is giving him lots of trouble and is look to trade it in and found a 07.5 3500. he tows a 25ft goose neck trailer. or should he look around for a 5.9l i know these motors are work horses and get good fuel mileage. but it is hard to find one with a 6 seed manual in it found a lot of auto for good price but don't like how the 48re shifts with a heavy load.

I think so. I wasn't at all interesed in them when I bought my truck but i have alot of buddies that own them and many of them have not had any problems with them whatsoever. I think alot of the bugs have been worked out.

Hard to say if the truck he found also had problems. The biggest thing right now is the exhaust system plugs up with soot (if not worked hard like they are suppose to), leaving you on the side of the road. The 07.5 have the 68REH 6 spd auto. Suppose to be a real good transmission.

Other than hating the regen. I like mine. I'll really like it when I can start on the deletes.
