Default Engine Oil Change

I'm new to this site,so maybe this has allready been brought up. I see alot of talk about the plugged DPF. which I have had pleanty of myself, but allso I have had quit a few oil change required messages on the overhead display. my dealer showed my how to clear it. but was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem My pickup is a 07.5 with the 6.7

Change your oil filter, and then clear it. I had that only come up only once.
I always change one oil filter between my oil changes. And have not seen it come back for the last 16K miles.

OK thanks for the imfo.Mine is getting better now that I'm getting a few more miles on it 10,000. when it was new it came on alot did'nt matter if ya have 5 or 500 miles on the oil

turn the key to first notch.. let all the lights on dash cycle.. then fully depress gas pedal 3 times..turn key back to off postion. when you turn key back on it should be gone

If three doesn't work, try pressing it four times. I talked to one of the mechanics at the dealership, and that's what he told me to do with mine. I couldn't get mine to go away with three.
