switching clutch fan

Hello, i am new to this site and really glad i found it!!! I have a2007 dodge 3500 ton truck with a 6.7 liter. I havave 2 questions, 1) Can i use a clutch fan from a 1996 5.9ltr to put in 2007 6.7ltr? Thanks in advance

I don't think so

since the 96 is activated by the thermostat, and the 07 is controlled by the thermostat and ecm.
