No offense to you guy that've got these new 6.7's but these sound like some pretty sh!ty motors with all the problems bein posted on here. I know they're "new" and as with any "new" motor there's bugs to be worked out. But isn't this just a bored out 5.9? I don't blame yall though, if I had one, as soon as my warranty was gone, so would all that other bs they put on there to choke em to death. Doesn't really make much sense to me though, seems like the cleaner engines are getting worse fuel economy which just kinda evens it the balance. It's just a viscious cycle money game if you ask me.

The motors are not what you say AF1, it is all the environmental BS they have added to it.
I have communicated with Marco (SMARTY), and in abot 2 months the Smarty for 6.7L will be out and according to what I have heard, all my problems will be solved quickly.
As soon as I get my Smarty, I will let you know how it goes.

The highest i seen my EGTs on my 6.7 are 1600 and that was with my fully loaded enclosed trailer and about 2500 pounds in the bed going up a 7% incline. I have the Edge but I have my back down turned all the way to 0% so the motor can cook itself
. So far that the only time I have ever seen it get that high. Other than that it has only gotten up to 1250 and then it went right back down.

I've been attempting to find a good EGT to program in for a defuel process on my Attitude. I called and talked to the local dealership and all they could tell me is the EGT's on the 6.7 are higher than the 5.9s. They couldn't pinpoint a max EGT on this engine. I also called Edge and after discussing it for about thirty minutes we came up with a number around 1500 with the sensor prior to the turbo on the exhaust manifold. Anybody got any numbers they've locked in on the EGTs?![PopCorna1](https://www.dieselbombers.com/images/smilies/connie_eatingpopcorn.gif)

The biggest reason cummins cant gived you a maximum EGT is if they gave you that number and then you went and did it all day and blew the motor .....they would have to pay for your motor.......... and in stock trim the egt should linger around 1450 to 1550 in full boost pulling big hills........i had an experienc woith the new 6.7 it didnt want to go in to ergen and i did also see a egt of around 1600.....i wouldnt go much higher just incase....get water/meth injection....i work for dodge too i will try to get some numbers together for ya as well..
