I did a quick scan and did not see this posted, but for those of you who did not receive the recall on the tie-rod issue here is a link about the problem! Chrysler recalls 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks - Autoblog

Mine went "Death Wobble" at about 40k, replaced tie rods and track bar with upgrade kit, (why do they need an upgrade kit if they don't know anything is wrong), when recall received I called and asked dealer if they would reimburse me for at least what they are spending replacing just the left bar end. NOT ONE DIME and gee I was due for service? , I fixed Dodge's **** poor engineering and they want me to be loyal to them???? hmm

I talked to my local dealer yesterday...i guess there were two diff. Numbers on the recall either a 49 or a 62....they said 62 was just bring it in for a visual inspection and 49 was replace it no matter what...mine was a 49 but they said atleast march before they had parts..

Inspected mine yesterday, said it was the one that didn't need replaced. Wonder why it took 6 years before they wanted to check it out.
