I think I am ready to go down the worm hole and move into EFILive land. My truck is an 08 mega/auto and has had a variety of programmers installed to date. Smarty ME and H&S MCC, both of which I have been happy with but have left me wanting more.

I have bought EFILive V2 and the "EFILive training books" from Starlight and read the information. My initial goal is to simple remove the other programmer and install EFILive program without any codes. Power is something I am after but stable is something I need. I have not found any programming write-ups for the 6.7 yet.

I am planning on using a stock file from tunerfiledepot instead of going to the dealer.

With all of the above being said, what am I not thinking about?

1. return to stock
2. modify tunerfiledepot stock tune for my truck for various reasons
3. Install

I wanted to go with a tune that I am creating to not be locked when wanting to make a change. Is this an ok way to go?
