Default shop recommendations ok/tx

i need a upgraded clutch put in my 07 6.7 cummins. Im in sw oklahoma. any shops from OKC to dallas you'd recommend?

welcome to db. i would recomend (lazarsmith pattonville tx)<<mikes a great guy (outlawdiesel-stillwater oklahoma)<<trents a great guy. also a trustworthy trans shop in okc is bluementhal's they done my 1st clutch and was fast. hope one of these guys can get you strait

hey what they charge to replace clutch (if you dont mind me asking) i have 08 3500 2WD cheapest rate i find round here is 500.00 thats all labor i have complete southbend dual disc conversion. what kind of transmission lube did you use ? thinking of royal purple but dont see it in type that is recomended.

dont run atf. im running lucas 50w transmission oil oreillys can special order it. the g56 is recomeneded buy mercerdes to run 50w trans oil. also lazarsmiths gorilla juice is good stuff. it is his own blend specific for the g56

just want to say thanks Coorsman, spoke with Trent @ outlaw diesel yesterday and have an appt next week for him to put a Valair in. he quoated me 1500 plus tax installed. Very nice guy and knew exactly what i was talking about. I'll let you know how it goes.

We have used Blumenthals before and were happy with the service...Id tried all week to get some information out of them and wasn't really pleased. First call guy said no need to put back anything more than stock clutch even though i told him it was chipped. After reading here and on other boards that i did in fact need more than stock, called back and twice couldn't get anyone to answer the phone and once i got it answered, put on hold and was on hold for over 20 minutes

didn't try lazarsmith, he is a little far for me.

again, thanks for the info!

you bet trents a good guy. he will steer you straight. and wont take advantage of anybody.tell him mark sent you he will know who your talking about
