Default where is that hose from????????

i started the truck this morning and notice a hose just hanging first looked like from the engine compartment i went under the truck and its a hose that was connected to the top of the front axle differential im questing is some kind of vent hose and now here is my question: where is the other end of that hose connected ???????? if somebody has a pic that would be great

its suppose to have a one way dust cap on it. it runs up to your shock tower or spring tower on the driver side. should be a metal clip unless it fell off. as long as you have it tied up so water and such cant go in it. if the cap is gone run it up and back down so water wont run strait into your axle. oreilys sells them vent caps aswell.
