But the FORD 6.4 guys are telling me they're getting 18 MPG with their H & S

 

Its a race programmer. They are not meant for mileage. Its a side affect and they by law cannot talk about mileage

 

My dad has the xrt and we have no issues in town we get 14mpg and hwy we can get 22mpg empty

 

If your deleted your not regening so you will do better on the over all tank at least if your not over extending your right foot more

 

Stock timing on the mm is not 3. That is default timing by HS. 2 is close to stock, on 3 the injectors make more noise and the engine is loader, if you go back to 2 you will notice it sounds like it did when it was stock, much quieter.

 

I have a 2008 with the 6.7, black maxx, and only 285 70/17 tires. When I first put the tuner on got error codes and dinging messages for over a year off and on. one fix after another, download every two weeks and seemed to fix things, for awhile. Mileage about 16-18 highway at whatever speed or setting not towing a load.
I lost the el cheapo USB/micro drive loader and had to purchase a new one at Radio Shack, best thing I could have done!!! One of the engineers called me and after we talked for awhile on what was up with the truck he sent me a program load. which I used the new USB to load. Took awhile on the H&S to get it loaded but it was a full download not just an update as I had been doing before. Bring your Caluculator fellas, 24 miles to the gallon from Grand Junction to Albequerque over Red mountain pass with only a 400 lb tool box in the back. Towed a trailer back and still got 20mpg! WOOO WOOO
I have yet to talk to somebody that hasn't had some issues with the new 2012?
