Trester,

I have been working on a 2012 6.7l for a few weeks now and I found I had to go to an AFE Pro Dry Stage 2 intake and run the timing down to stock level. We are getting 18mpg + now at 65mph.

My MPG is still 16 MPG, same as stock. Not real happy, I've tried every setting on the mini maxx and did the update before I installed it.

I can get 18 mpg if I do 55 mph. I can't drive under 70. I do mostly highway driving.

What mini maxx settings do you find the best MPG for highway?
Fill in your sig what deletes and mods do you have? If your running bare minumum I would run mild/3 att until you get some {if thats the case}

Why a AFE stage 2 the stock air intake will work fine deleted, stock timing is 3 is that where you are?

Was running an AFE mega cannon, switched it out to the Pro dry and gained 3mpg, played apushed the timing on the Mini Max to (1) stock setting and gained another 2mpg. Running a 5" Flow pro exhaust, H&S Mini Max with deletes on Hot setting.

I talked with H & S about getting more MPG, & they told me that they don't test their tuners for MPG

They wouldn't test their minimax race tunes for mileage because they were selling them for race only..

You need to take into consederation winter fuel if you are where they have it, Also idle times with adversely affect mileage as well. Some trucks also will not see the gains that most do say 1 out of 100 will not change alot. I have seen it on occasion
