Default Deleting DPF

Good morning! I am sure this has been posted numerous times but I havent been able to find a direct answer on here yet. I will be deleting the DPF on my 08 6.4 this week with an Edge Race tuner and a 4" Flo-Pro turbo back. Are there any specifics I should look out for during the process like wires or harnesses? I know when I deleted the DPF on my 08 Chevy I had to be careful not to harm the wiring and to make sure I sealed them in a dry plastic bag to keep from throwing codes. Does anyone know of a step by step procedure or is it as simple as pulling the exhaust and installing the tune and the new exhaust? Thanks!

Your truck would run better with either a Spartan or H&S Tuner.

or sct live wire. I bought canned tunes going to be getting custom tunes fast. And that edge will kill your tanny from what I have been told.

What's wrong with the edge tuner? I liked them on all of my other trucks. I'm not doin it for the added horsepower. Just mainly for the delete.

How much is the edge? Because if it 800 or over go with sct or spartan or h&s then you have the option for custom tunning. With custum tunning your truck will shift better and run like a bat outa hell.

The edge dosent tune the trans like custom tunes do.

Then get it I guess the others are going to be about 1100 with the deletes.

Thats why I have a superchip. Because it was 500 not 1100. But I wish I had waited.

Another vote for custom tuned SCT here. Trannies are more than tuners are....
