I've already bought the edge tuner so I am going to use it. I've ran them before on other trucks with no problems. What type of transmission problems do they cause?

Also, back to my original question, are there any specifics I should look out for during the process of removiong the stock exhaust system?

No just unbolt the sensors then either tye them up to the frame or put them back in your aftermarket exhause. Did you get one with or with out bungs?

Just cover the sensors with a plastic bag and zip tie them out of the way.

Some progamers need the sensors in the exhaust and some dont. I really have no clue wich ones do and wich ones dont.

Sorry if this has been covered but can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
09' F350 6.4 with SCT, intake, DPF delete, no cat, was on extreme mode - had troubles last year with the truck (no boost, tons black smoke. Programmed it with the Performance mode - all fixed)
- now truck just had the same problem won't push it's own weight into the garage, no boost, enough black smoke to turn it into night. EGR??

I will be deleting the DPF on my 08 6.4 this week with an Edge Race tuner and a 4" Flo-Pro turbo back. Are there any specifics I should look out for during the process like wires or harnesses? I know when I deleted the DPF on my 08 Chevy I had to be careful not to harm the wiring and to make sure I sealed them in a dry plastic bag to keep from throwing codes. Does anyone know of a step by step procedure or is it as simple as pulling the exhaust and installing the tune and the new exhaust? Thanks!
whats the reason for deleting your dpf?... bc i am having some issues with my truck and its the same year and make...
