im very happy with the 595 my truck put down on IDP's extreme race tune (sct livewire) .. 736 on the juice..

i personally wouldnt deal with anyone but him.. he has the transmission tunning down to the "T" i have heard others with spartan having terriable shifting issues and the same with erics tunes (IDP) but i always here and (have personally experienced) eric fixing the shifting issues first time no problem.. also found that everyone else seems to love erics trans tuning better than anyone elses

I would keep the FORD FACTORY EXHAUST, cause it will keep the temperture under 500* all the other aftermarket exhaust will keep the temperture around 800*

Where are you getting 500 and 800 from? With the DPF off, temps should go down. The only reason they'd go up is because of more fuel, meaning a tuner... What magazine advertisement are you getting these numbers from?

I had a feeling where that was coming from... not sure if that's what he was talking about or not...

Lets also note that test is done with filter back exhausts, meaning that the DPF is still in place.

Dont waste money on a filter back exhaust. You wont notice a single bit of performance and the exhaust note is exactly the same as stock. If you want an exhaust, get a tuner and a DPF delete and do the whole thing, otherwise leave it stock.

Those temps are ridiculous anyways. I could care less what my tail pipe temps are (to a point), I'm more concerned with temps at the manifold pre-turbo or right after the turbo to see what is going on in the motor.

They're not talking about EGT's. I ASSUME they mean out of the exhaust outlet at idle, or during regen, which doesnt happen at idle. All it is, is tip design.

Yes I understand, but my point was once the DPF is off those numbers are out the window anyways.

We're all really worried more about temps at the motor, not coming out the tailpipe. With a DPF delete it really shouldn't even be a concern

Telling someone to stick with a factory Ford exhaust Vs. an aftermarket is not a good argument when it comes to DPF deleted exhaust setups.
