Default H&S Black Maxx vs Spartan

Hey guys I am getting ready to purchase a tuner and complete exhaust but I cant decide between the black Maxx or the Spartan tuner? Any suggestions or input out there from any of you that have these or know someone that does? The both cost about the same but I just dont know which one to pick they both seem to be really good ones?

I run Spartan now and love their tunes. What I dont like about the Spartan is there is no shift-on-the-fly(15-30 mins to change tunes) and the fact that the Spartan cannot be interchanged with any other vehicle without lots of extra money vested for licences which means no more taking out your $1500 tuner when you trade the truck in. Blackmaxx you can interchange the tuners to similiar year trucks kinda like the good ol fashioned Superchip Tuners. Im still up in the air but I will say that if I could do it again, I might have went Blackmaxx. Make sure You compare the 2 yourself and make Your best decision.

I don't think you could go wrong with either choice. We have always had good luck with H&S Products so they get our Vote.

My honest opinion, Go with River City Diesel. I have a Sct Touchscreen Extreme in my truck with Joshs tunes, absolutely wicked, i love it. My dad has the same tunes for his 06. I'll tell ya, never go wrong with SCT and RCD !!!

We have had great success with both the Maxx and Spartan on the 6.4. Both produce great tuners. I like the shift on the fly feature of the Maxx and the Spartan gives you a few more tunes to choose from (9 with the DPF off).
