im fairly new to deisels my dad has had them and he has 6.0 programmed amd propane.I jus got into an 09 6.4 and like it ive already installed the delete pipe i had trouble with downloading the sct livewire udates off my computer my local speed shop gave me a bullydog gt to try, they gonna send in the sct. i love the idea u can change settings on the fly (stock, tow, performance, extreme) the question i have is the truck goes into regen mode as when i had sct installed it never went into regen mode. from what i understand sct and another (cant remember name) r the two best programmers with the delete pipes.

Spartan is the other name you are thinking of.

Best in the business in my opinion.

I do not believe that Bully Dog has a DPF delete tune, which is likely why your truck has gone into regen and stayed there. (I may be wrong though)

I'd put the DPF back on, you're hammering the **** out of the oil with it staying in Regen - you'll have LOTS of fuel in the oil.

I drained 27qt out of one a couple weeks ago, it was staying in regen from a melted DPF pressure sensor.

if you like the shift on the fly capability of the Bully Dog, but need DPF delete, look into the H&S Black Maxx H&S Black Maxx Race Tuner for 08-09 ford 6.4L Powerstroke - DPF delete only

or river city diesel....although they also use the SCT livewire to hold the custom tunes, there tunes are literally BAD-***, and i heard through the grape vine that they now carry the dash daq too... which is a much better tuning device than the SCT in many opinions........................ how does 589 RWHP sound?!?!?
