Hi txredman, I think it's called the TORNADO, & I do hit alot of traffic here, the only time my truck does any work, is when I ride my atv, or buy a washer, the trailer I have is a 5x8, but I don't use it anymore, cause I sold the other atv.

hey gunman - I watch nascar to so when I'm goin down the highway like to follow pretty close to other cars and trucks - I'm not tailgating, I'm drafting - I can follow close to a big rig for about 5 miles and see my mpg go up at least 1 mpg - I got a 30 foot tow hauler that weighs 9800 lbs empty - not very heavy for an F350 - but it obviously works it cause my mileage drops to 5 mpg within 10 or 15 miles - Ford is already workin on a new progam for the 08's so maybe that will help us out

Hope FORD comes out with that flash soon, I'm going to buy a drop-in filter for my truck.

I don't have a spartan tuner...yet.

I am running 3.73 gears, on the stock 18" wheels and tires, and if you keep it below 1900rpm, the fuel mileage skyrockets. Sunoco Gold diesel fuel and ford PM-17-A and PM-17-B Cetane booster and anti-gel compounds in the tank too.

Almost ALL highway driving.

Hey hillbilly - The only difference between what you are doin and what I'm doin is the cetane booster and anti-gel. The BEST I've ever got is like 16.8 - it don't help when mine goes into regen every 50 to 70 miles and it does it for about 30 to 40 mins or 35 miles, which ever way ford wants me to say it - the mileage drops fast when that happens - so what gives?

Wow, I don't know what to tell you, but my truck will generally only go into regen once per tank, and it usually happens shortly after I fill up.

50 to 70 miles seems kind of excessive. I've had it regen twice on one tank before, but I was beating the hell out of it. And I can tell you for certain that my truck doesn't take 35 miles to regen.

Do you know anyone with a like unit that you can compare to?

I hardly see ANY cars on my way to work. If I leave after a certain time, I get trapped behind a schoolbus or two, but other than that, it's pretty straight goin, about 50-55 mph the whole way.
