Default 6.5 cutting out

My buddy has a 6.5 turbo diesel in a 94 3/4 chevy. He cannot go over 55mph. The motor starts bogging down. What could be the problem ? Sensor, module, need help fast.. Thanks for the help.

Default 6.5

Yes it runs and idles fine until you get to around 50 - 55 mph then it wont go any faster. Something was mentioned about a throttle position sensor???

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I read something about replacing the PMD could this be the problem?(pump mounted driver) is that small black box mounted on the side of your injection pump. It is a signal amplifier that powers the fuel solenoid

Woody35, i missed your previous post ! It is an automatic. No check engine light is on, not to say that the light isn't burnt out. I will try to get the codes on it if it has any.
