Thanks guys, Its supposed to rain thurs/friday so hopefully Ill pull the old motor and get some work done on the new one and be running within the next couple weeks.

Anyone know where I should tap into for the oil feed line? I was thinking about one of the oil cooler lines to put a "T" in it but Im not sure how well that would work

Thanks
Ian

you could do that or find where the oil sending unit is and make a fitting to "T" off of that for oil feed to the turbo. that is how most V-8 mustang guys do it. some Lowes brass fittings and yer good to go.

Hey, I've done this before, and there is a port you can put a fitting into right above the oil filter. Its in the BANKS instructions. I'll see if I can find them.

I've done the conversion before. Its a good conversion. I blew my main seal out when I did it. Dont be a dummy, put a crank case vent in it..... I have a whole thread on DP somewhere.

here's the banks manual. take a look at it for good info.

The only way I've ever seen it is to get a AC box from a S10, and cut it in half, then cut the AC box you have in half, and fiberglass them together.

That is the ONLY way without getting a separate piece from nostalgic air parts, or something like that. The turbo is in the way of the AC.

Also, to fit in the frame, you'll have to lift the engine a few inches to get the manifold to fit. Its impossible to torque down any other way.
