If anyone could offer some advice, pros and cons, I would appreciate it greatly. I currently have an 89 samurai with an 83 VW 1.6 n/a diesel that I dropped in last spring. Great toy, but not exactly a family vehicle. Please help me with this decision on which suburban to buy. Both have solid bodies & frames, supposedly all original under the hood. 99 has "slight" tranny and power steering leaks, super clean body. 94 is said to need brakes and rotors, a little surface rust. Thanks!

 

I always like the older interiors myself and OBD1 is cheaper and easier to work on. Other than that hard to say. 99 has better cooling system. 94 might have a 506 block. Really a crapshoot.
