Default should i use a amp fuse on high idle mod for 95td

all instructions i can find say 94/95 need 12v ingnition on, to termenal a6 via switch. i'm just a little leary on unlimited amps to ecm. would an in line fuse be in order if so what amp# would cover the high idle mod?. cold here in ontario and could really use this thx.

The high idle switch I have made only grounds out the one plug on my ecm there is no power going to it so I don't see a need for a fuse
