Complete Build Thread
OK guys so I decided I am gonna go ahead and start taking the truck apart and do the head gasket work myself instead of paying a shop... so I am starting a build thread. Please check my parts list below and tell me if I am missing anything as this is my first build on a 6.0. I already have Edge CTS, AFE intake, and MBRP 4 inch turbo back exhaust. I decided that I might as well do everything on the how to make a 6.0 bulletproof sticky while it was all apart. The only things off that list I didn't decide to do was the remote oil cooler kit and the oil bypass filter setup.
I have 36 gallons of distilled water, a gallon of restore, a gallon of restore plus, and 4 gallons of CAT ELC for the coolant flush process.

OMFG CAN IT GET ANY WORSE
I don't even know what to do right now I am basically ****#D. My heads where getting done at a machine shop called Precision Machine Inc. (PMI) in Jefferson City, MO as of now I am basically screwed because the machine shop is currently burning to the ground with my heads inside and I do not have the money to buy new heads and this is the only vehicle my fiance and me had to drive since my motorcycle got wrecked last Thursday. I don't even know what to do I am so pissed and stressed right now and the fiance is losing it. Here are two links to the local news broadcast on the fire that is still going for whoever is interested.

Do they not have insurance? Man that sucks. I guess even if they did they still have to have the adjuster come out and total it all up. Yikes.
If you were closer I'd give you my spare set for the time being, but shipping would probably ruin that deal.
Sorry to hear about that. Best bet is to just get on the forums and reach out and see who has a spare set of heads you can buy on the cheap.

Ok bud, how much do you love me?
Found you some heads, do you need 18mm or 20mm? The only issue is shipping might be a bear, but they're cheap enough it wont matter. $200 + shipping... They need to be surfaced but should be good to go other than that.
Let me know if you're interested.

they are 18mm heads on a late 04 truck... i goota try to find a machine shop now cuz PMI was they only one i know of in a 2 hour drive that knew anything about 6.0 heads and it is hard to get around without a vehicle
