Reading posts from many 6.0 PSD forums have said that MKM tunes are "ok", but those members who have switch from MKM to Innovatives,Gearheads,Quicktricks, or Truck Source Diesel have said that the MKM tunes aren't as strong as the other tune writers.

Quicktricks sells the X3 with unlimited tunes (11+ custom tunes) for $425.

If you want to save some money, you can buy a used SCT from $100-$300 depending on the deal you can find. Then just buy a custom tune package of 3 for $100-$165.

I have zero desire to even try MKM tunes...

The big names are big for a reason. The price you pay doesn't always boil down to how good that one tune is, but what happens when you need help with that tune. Who are you going to hear back from first? I haven't gone more than 24 hours without a response from Eric @ Innovative.

Mine has been the exact opposite, and I wont use her tunes anymore, but that's just me. I know a lot of guys swear by her tuning. For me, the shifting was never right.

We have a 6.0 at work thats running a MKM tow tune for egr delete and it runs good. Had a problem when the injectors where going out from the shitty oil we run and the dealership reflashed the computer. got them on the phone that same day and got it all worked out no problem.

I recently bought an X3 from them, shipped quick and it comes with 3 custom tunes..

I got it 3 days later and ordered my tunes.. They promise them 2-3 days for delivery on tunes which is A LONG TIME compared to the other tune shops like IDP which believe in the same day as pay theory.

I called on the afternoon of the third day and asked if maybe they had lost my email address, turns out they didn't and they haven't even started on my tunes. They told me they would have them by that night.

I called at 5:45pm on the third day and asked if they were ready, they said they had just started on them and that they would be done either later that day or the next morning.

I came into work today (4th day) and guess what..? No tunes..... I waited until around 10am until they finally got here, put my tune on and my truck runs like it has 3 down injectors and a slipping transmission made of jello..

Horrible customer service, The people are and when I told IDP about how long they were taking and if they were any good, IDP laughed in my face..

Never go with MKM Customs, I now will only deal with IDP and eric who works there..
