Jeremy Pierce?

I wouldn't call the math "fact" on those HP numbers. What mods do you have now?

If I was going for insane, I wouldn't be starting with a 6.0, that's for sure. 6.4 would be my platform of choice, keeping it Ford.

I AGREE if going for all out it would be a nice 2WD short bed 08 or newer with the 6.4

OK not fact just math.....

O have a larger turbo (actually 2 turbos), new intake (well modded factory intake), I wish I had Casserly injectors but alas I cannot afford them now( so I run a set of river city 155, and a bigger fuel pump. Ohh and a custom auto trans. with a better TQ converter. With air raid intake and 5 inch exhaust following the factory line out my bottom right corner so it looks stock.. hehe my little toy box. Ohh and a tuner from Inno. thats my rig in the shell. hows it sound to you ?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

OK its not actually 2 independent turbos as opposed to a turbo and an air booster that sucks air in through the air raid box.

WTF is an air booster?

Your first post said you haven't touched the turbo, but now you have?

That first post was a typo my bad. I have done both of the things in that sentence. however I want 7" exhaust I only run a 5 inch now. I think seven looks better and the more free flow the better in some cases. As for the air booster its an electric fan that sucks air in through the air box when you put the hammer down. it works kind of like a water methanol injection. sort of a poor supercharger. I built it off a plans from a guy I know who runs one he built and swears by it. I dont know what type of gains it gives but it does seem to help. I can turn it off via a switch under my dash but it seems to really pull harder when its on and I am going uphill.

I'm at a loss for words. You really think an electric fan in the air box is going to pull more air in than the turbo? Simple math could prove this out before ever putting it on your truck. Figure out the CFM of the fan you're using, what it can pull at max load. If anything it's restricting air flow to your charger would be my guess.

7" exhaust is going to do absolutely nothing over your 5", just like the 5" is doing nothing a 4" couldn't do, but change the sound a little bit.

The best advice I can give you, is stick around and just read as much as you can here. If you have any questions, try searching first and see if you can find an answer, if you can't then ask. We're here to help.

Haven't you guys seen the videos of the guys putting a leaf blower on the throttle body of an S10? It actually made some boost. Then, as if that wasn't hysterical enough, they sprayed the air intake of the leaf blower with nitrous. They did it on a dyno as a gag and some folks took it seriously.

Ya know, with a fan forcing air into the MAF, wouldn't that tell the computer to richen up the fuel curve? Kinda makes the Batmowheel debate sound petty.

I actually saw a dyno a while back of some guys in a shop doing that with a civic or something, hooked a powerful leaf blower to it and got it to pick up a TINY amount of power, but it did.

That civic was also N/A, not forced induction. I'd sure like to see the fan and the power to run it that will actually out-flow a turbine spinning at 70k-100k rpms.
