First time working on a 6.0? Plan for at least 12 hours. It's a biatch until you learn the ins and outs.
Those $150 ebay kits look exactly like my RCD kit. I paid $185 shipped for mine, works great. I would probably buy one of those, or pay the extra $20 or whatever and get the RCD kit... At least I know my RCD kit was made in America, and it has some sort of a reputable name on it...

If you can turn wrenches it's real easy to do, just really time consuming. The biggest thing most guys mess up is getting it all back together and the up-pipes leak. Get the turbo back in and in place, but don't crank it down. Lightly start the turbo mount bolts. Then tighten the down pipe and up-pipe connection at the turbo, then work your way down to the manifolds tightening as you go, once that is all tight, crank down the mounting bolts, should be good to go.

Just finished my 2nd egr delete install took me about 12 hours but I only worked on it after my day job it turned out real good no problems I also replaced the oil cooler at my own request its better to get it taken care of while you are already in there in my opinion something you might want to consider .... also when taking off the intake it will help you out alot to keep the bolts separated passenger side and driver also try to keep them in order bc some have threads on the top and finding the order is a pain in the a$$ other than that real simple easy money I will do more if I get the opportunity

The ones that say you don't have to pull the intake manifold, you still need to loosen all of the hardware holding it on, and pull it up. It's not a full removal, but on a truck with a fair amount of miles, you're still breaking the seal of the intake manifold to the heads, I'd just take it off completely and use new gasekts personally.
