Question 03 3/4 ton air bags

so i just bought my o3 yesterday and today i was doing alittle more snooping on it, and i knew it had rear air bags on it, i traced the line to the plate where the trailer light plugins are at, it has a valve stem right there for em, so my questions are, how many psi should i run in them and how often should i check em, its an 03 3/4 ton 4 door short bed 4x4 auto, 6.0L

Going to depend on your loads at the time and just what you think is a nice ride. I'm not sure anyone can actually tell you just what you should be running. Probably would be a better idea to call the manufacturer and get some rough numbers, or maybe see if you can print out an owners manual on line or something. What kind of bags are they?

I think no load you should have either 5 or 10 lbs. I'm trying to remember what the firestone manual said on our set for the excursion
I know you dont run them with no air, you risk pinching the bag.

I have the bags on my truck and the minimum pressure is 8 psi, with a max of 80 psi. As far as what you put in them, it depends on how stiff you want the truck. I run mine with no load at about 12 psi, and then air up to about 45 to 55 psi when I pull my 5'er (14k fully loaded). Hope that helps.

I have 15 psi in mine. Firestone says at least 5 psi and not exceed 100 psi.
