A lot of money being spent to make 500 rwhp. Still cool I guess. Post pics if you can!
Any more info on these "aftermarket heads" Are they just remans from Liberator or something, or are they actually ported heads from Elite or something along those lines? All this money and still using the stock intake manifold too?

The engines back in. Havent been able to re-assemble the truck, 6.4s are pouring in by the dozens with everything from the **** Tank radiators blowing apart (new tsb raping us harder applying to the current radiator problems instead of ford fessing up they have junk mexican radiators change the degas bottle, upper+lower hoses to a 2010 inspect front covers for cavitation water pumps for impellar damage, thermostats for hyperextension plus r+r radiator only pays 3.3, 3.7 to replace front cover with r+r radiator) to egr coolers blowing apart, to engine meltdowns. Ive been going without lunch break this whole week going in at 8 and staying til 9-10 pm tonights the first night i got out before 9. and the other diesel tech is out so im pulling the weight of 2 people.
The intake is stock but the ports are larger and match the intake ports on the heads. The gaskets were blue not white and larger intake port holes. im hoping to get it done tomorrow and just tell the guy i gota do the lift kit another time. I wana pressure test this thing in the worst way.

Got a winner of a 6.4, customer wanted to make it back home towing 14k pounds and hauling 5yards of gravel in a 09 F450 dumptruck when the horizontal egr cooler blew, high pressure turbo failed, the oil cooler failed (degas bottle is black looks like roofing tar) and eventually ran away. miss fire was detected at 5892 rpm.-thats how i know it was a runaway aside from a bone dry crankcase
6.4s go then then boom. then i gotta and take it. I swear ford would be better off to have us repower them with studded 6.0s or new 6.7s and trannyf and all thier computerized controls. 6.4s are good for 1 thing and 1 thing only-yaght anchors. hell theyre heavy enough...

My guess would be around a max of 550rwhp. That would be with 190's. A few guys have done high 400's like 480 with 155's and a powermax. Stepping up to 190's with a powermax you're probably not going to be towing much. Supposedly they run out of air up top with the 190's too.

Now the truck is reassembled and holy hell is it fast! very little smoke on the medium setting the water meth was tricky wiring into the APP and actually getting it to work. There were a few issues with the build though. the lift isnt going to be installed by us were far too backed up with warranty work to even begin to do a lift kit so its off to be done elsewhere. One of the nozzles wasnt sealing in the intake and it made me go nuts trying to figure out why the truck was lacking power almost as though someone pulled the egr valve out of the intake while it was running. it would smoke sputter and die. Put a new Oring on it and teflon tape on the nozzle and found it by using the handy dandy smoke tester as a last ditch effort before i tore the engine back out and apart to see if the camshaft was off a tooth. The exhaust note is far more agressive than a stock 6.0, this cam has i believe the same lift or slightly more by .03 of an inch and much more duration, it has a slightly lopey idle nothing like a dirt oval or 1/4 mile small block chevy, and the exhaust note was more raspy crackly very very nice.
