You can do it yourself, it's not hard to do at all if you can turn wrenches. Any muffler shop should have no issues putting an exhaust on. If you want to start off simple you can get just a muffler delete pipe and a cat delete pipe for around $100 total.

Some of the very BEST Egr full delete setups on the market are only $600. I got my full delete setup for $185 shipped.... $1000 installed maybe for one of the really nice kits, but even then I find that hard to beleive.

Better gaskets, not so much, but new gaskets with decked heads and headstuds instead of the crummy stock torque to yield bolts. They stretch. Studs are better at clamping two surfaces together.

The overall noise out of stacks isn't as loud as the straight pipe. It's all about how the sound is directed. Inside the cab, yes stacks are LOUD.

The Victor Reinz headgaskets run about $140 now and the ARP head studs are about $400 now. Call a good machine shop and see what they charge to deck and pressure check those heads. Try and find a shop that has done work with these heads before.

i dunno bout that cause with my straight pipe people couldnt hear me as far as they can with my stacks, i guess its just the style of stacks and the kinda pipe, my stacks are overall louder, not as loud as the single 6 i had though
