Best gauges for 6.0?
The truck does NOT have oil temp, and the other gauges on the factory dash board are all but useless. My trans temp gauge on the factory dash doesn't move at all, even though my stand-alone can read anywhere from 80-180. The factory stays the same. Not exactly my idea of accurate. The factory stuff is more of a "suggestion" than a real gauge. It works in increments. Take for instance the factory coolant temp gauge (bottom gauge on the right in my truck). It has around 5 or 6 predetermined "stops" and moves to a new "stop" every time it goes up 40 degrees or something (just pulling numbers out of my ****). It doesn't actually work like a real gauge.

How did this thread go from a discussion about gauges to a argument about a tuners?
Anyway, I think the analog gauges look the best. Kind of reminds me of an old WWII fighter or like being in an early jet cockpit. I came here not knowing what I wanted, but I looked up the ISSPRO EV'2s and they look pretty cool. Lots of nice features, too. I think when I get some money I'll invest in a pyro and oil temp for my 7.3. I don't really think I need anything else.

Nah I think it shoud be in like a general for section or a general diesel section because I deffinentaly want my 7.3 to be a part of it once I get me some pictures up!
First post in the thread is a 7.3 anyways! How about one for all superduties?
Sure, there is a 7.3 section and a general section. Go to the main forum page. You'll see the general powerstroke section at the top of all the Ford stuff.
