Default air dog installation

hi

i have a 2005 f350 want to install a airdog kit..

what is the difference from a 150 kit and the air dog two kit

Do i get rid of the fuel pump on the truck and both gas filters one on the engine and one in the back

the truck is stock ...other than the intake kit....

Looking for better filtration ....i do not expect any performance out of this kit..

thanks

This will keep your fuel cleaner and remove more water, and will ensure that you don't drain the injectors if you do run a tune at some point.

For ford's esp 6.0's and 6.4's, go with the AD2. The AD2 has an adjustable regulator, and will allow you to keep the desired 55psi. This will also prevent you from having to pay an extra $700 or so for a stand-alone regulated system and installing on the back of the heads. The AD2 will replace the pump on the frame. You can keep the filter up top, but you'll likely never have to change it, with all the really clean fuel it will be seeing. If you wanted to build your own fuel system kind of deal you could run the lines from the AD2 and "Y" it off up towards the motor and feed right into the front of the heads, but that seems like overkill for what you're looking for.

All of the AD2 kits are now 165gph. They're pretty much aimed at the Ford crowd.

Yeah if you were gonna go through that trouble, I'd just get the mag-hytech pan. When changing that filter up front, use an impact gun to take the cap off, a lot of guys have cracked them and/or broken them by trying to get them off with sockets/ratchet. The impact breaks it loose fast.

AD2 is/was on my list. Definitely a nice upgrade.

Mag is over priced for little or no real benefit.

starting to install the air dog two kit
mounted brackets to frame

i also just finished installing a 2009 tailgate assembly ...

I lucked out...same color as my truck ...oxford white

never been on a truck .....it is like brand new

wrecker for 500.00 just bought the 11 dollar rollers from Ford dealer..

they took it off a few years ago and installed a lift gate assy

So i took off the back access panel and spray it and lubed every thing up and put the plastic protective piece from my bed liner..

it has the spring assy in the tail gate to close easier....

definately heavier than the 2005
