Nope, just make sure the truck it's coming off of was returned to stock, and make sure there are some unlocks left. They start with 5. Every time it goes to a new truck you lose an unlock. They actually vinlock to the truck. This is also why it needs to be put back to stock before you can do anything with it.

 

@DieselPower84 - They are right, I got My XCal2 for $100 on another forum and then spent $100 for 3 Gearhead Tunes. Much cheaper than buying a new XCal3.

Go to powerstrokenation.com or powerstroke.org (I like the nation a lot better) and go to the for sale section, you'll see where you need to be.

 

I'd look at Mustang sites honestly to find a used XCal2. Lots more action there, just need to make sure its unlocked as others have stated. I got mine off of svtperformance.com I don't think you need to be a member to see the marketplace there.

 

Compared to here, yeah there isn't much for sale for Fords here. PSN has them everyday. The ORG has a lot of for sale activity too. Mustang site is another good choice.
